Hi, Maria - I saw you perform in October at your alma mater, SUNY New Paltz, where I teach, and was wowed. Really enjoy the CD I picked up, and am excited to see you'll be back in the Hudson Valley this summer. I wonder if you've ever played the Rosendale Cafe - seems like it would be a good fit. Also, if you ever tour CT, consider a cool cafe venue in Pomfret (northeastern CT) called The Vanilla Bean. Anyway, keep up the great work and Happy 2007!

I saw your four-piece ensemble last night and was very impressed. You are a very talented musician, as are your percussionist, bass player and fellow guitarist. What a pleasure it was to listen---though I have to tell you---IT WAS COLD!!!

Hi Maria, I had to comment on your playing at Mike Collins house the other night. You were excellent!!! It was nice of you to allow me to stay and listen. The heart you put into your playing, and the heart Mike puts into making those guitars, is one winning combination. I'm still feeling the affects from the experience!!! Take care, and thank you again.
Sincerely,
Mike

Hello, I am not here to promote myself..but to say how thrilled I am that a woman is touring as a virtuoso flamenco guitarist. I am a woman. I am a composer, multi instrumentalist..arranger...and trained vocalist...
I like to encourage other women to press on..I will be buying your album in the future ..soon.
I hope other women will be inspired in a world that discourage women from doing things with their minds.

Hi Maria,
I'm Tony's mom. He just emailed me your website and I just finished listening to your music that I enjoyed very much. I have always loved listening to Latin music and other influences. Ironically Tony likes it also, so much so that he became involved. You can probably tell I'm very proud of him. Anyway this is excellent music that you play very well.
Good Luck with all your future endeavors.

Man, I found you on iTunes and I can't tell you how much I enjoy those two albums! From the looks of your calendar you don't seem to stray much from Troy (I graduated from RPI in '69 - where the heck were you then!), but here's hoping you make it to the west coast soon. McCabes Guitar Shop in Santa Monica would be a wonderful venue for you - hint, hint.

Thanks again for such wonderful music.

I shared my favorite and you first cd with a co- worker. she passed it to someone else, who passed it to ... you get the idea.
So, now there's this new game in our office, it's called "Where's Maria?"
It's like where's Waldo, only you're a gifted talent and so much cuter.
Each morning, "Mrs Laughinghouse" disappears from my desk, to be sheepishly returned by yet another of the converted. They tend to say -"gee, I didn't know I like Flamenco?" or " are you sure there's only one guitarist". You dazzle and amaze the masses!! Thank you for helping keep music joyful!
